"The Vashon Community Scholarship Foundation meets during the school year in order to raise money and facilitate the dispersal of scholarships from businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals. Scholarships range from $100 to $5000. This year, 180 awards totalling $117,950 will be distributed to 96 graduating seniors who completed scholarship notebooks. Almost half this amount will be given by non-profit organizations." |
