Coaches Debbie Carrol and Mary Beba get to figure out what to do with the 43 girls who turned out for soccer this fall! The answer, much like Volleyball, is a Varsity, Junior Varsity, and a Freshman team.
Fourteen players are returning from last years' league championship team. Familiar names should be: Jamie Bennedsen, Sonja Carlson, Karen Olson, Renae Griffith, and Allie Maki, and exchange student Zena McCoy. In goal will be Maura Little. New (to Vashon) Swedish exchange student is Gunnel Edstrom.
Challenge in the Nisqually League is expected from Eatonville; strengthening are Steilacoom and Foster; unknowns are Orting with a new coach, and Chimacum.
