NEWS FLASH! Nisqually League Athletic Directors approved, in late November 2000, a re-alignment of the Nisqually League into an East division and a West division.
East Division schools will be Vashon, Eatonville, Foster, Orting and Steilacoom.
West Division schools will be Chimacum, Klahowya, North Mason, Port Townsend, and Sequim.
North Mason and Sequim are small 3A schools, while all the others are 2A.
Under the re-alignment, each school will play each other league school for football; for other sports each school will play the schools within their division two or three times, and play each school in the other division at least once.

* The skinny: Has woodsy feel like something right out of "The Blair Witch Project." Pick up a ferry schedule so you don't miss boat home. Dinner at Dairy Queen is a decent dining option. Enjoy the newly-refurbished stadium with all new wood, but watch out for splinters.
