The Vashon Film Society presents the Academy Awards on
the Big Screen at the Vashon Theater. Vashon's own Beautiful People
dress to the nines, arrive by Rolls Royce limosine before the
festivities, and are greeted by both Island fans and Island
Paparazzi!

The Vashon Park District put on a mid-week,
lunchtime series of "Tunes@Noon" concerts at the Village Green; this
is Just Fiddlin' 'Round; Hannah and Megan played on Wednesday, August
9, 2006.
